Database backup
Create a full cosmic database dump before deploying an update. Database writes pause while the dump holds its lock.
Includes tables, routines, events, and triggers. Backups stay on this VPS; no automatic deletion or restore operation.
A completed backup has passed compression validation and has a checksum. Restoration still needs a separate test.
